As we approach the end of the journey, we forget how Moshe began the journey, How did he go from a man of little words to a man of many words? One opinion is that Torah heals. The other opinion is that God created the miracle. But one thing is for certain, you cannot blame Moshe for not teaching and warning the people. They are responsible for their sins. They cannot blame Moshe for not being clear.

מדרש תנחומא (ורשא) פרשת דברים סימן ב
(דברים א:א) "אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר מֹשֶׁה אֶל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן בַּמִּדְבָּר בָּעֲרָבָה מוֹל סוּף בֵּין פָּארָן וּבֵין תֹּפֶל וְלָבָן וַחֲצֵרֹת וְדִי זָהָב"

These are the words which Moses spoke unto all Israel beyond the Jordan; in the wilderness, in

the Arabah, opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Di-zahab.

אמרו ישראל, 'אתמול אמרת (שמות ד:י) "וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל יְדֹוָד, בִּי אֲד-ֹנָי לֹא אִישׁ דְּבָרִים אָנֹכִי גַּם מִתְּמוֹל גַּם מִשִּׁלְשֹׁם גַּם מֵאָז דַּבֶּרְךָ אֶל עַבְדֶּךָ כִּי כְבַד פֶּה וּכְבַד לָשׁוֹן אָנֹכִי" עכשיו אתה מדבר כל כך?! אמר רבי יצחק: אם אתה חייך שנה את התורה והתרפא משה כבר למד את כל התורה.

(The) Israel(ites) said: 'yesterday you said "And Moses said unto the LORD: 'Oh Lord, I am not a man of words, neither heretofore, nor since Thou hast spoken unto Thy servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.", now you speak so much!?
Rabbi Yitzchak said: If you devote your life to Torah, study Torah, and you will be healed. Moshe already studied the entire Torah.

"בַּמִּדְבָּר בָּעֲרָבָה מוֹל סוּף"

“in the wilderness, in the Arabah, opposite Suph,”

זה שאמר הכתוב (ישעיהו לה:ו) "אָז יְדַלֵּג כָּאַיָּל פִּסֵּחַ וְתָרֹן לְשׁוֹן אִלֵּם כִּי נִבְקְעוּ בַמִּדְבָּר מַיִם וּנְחָלִים בָּעֲרָבָה"

This is what The Scripture said, “Then shall the lame man leap as a ram, and the tongue of the mute shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.”

בא וראה כשאמר הקדוש ברוך הוא למשה (שמות ג:י ) "וְעַתָּה [לך] לְכָה וְאֶשְׁלָחֲךָ אֶל פַּרְעֹה וְהוֹצֵא אֶת עַמִּי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָיִם"

Come and see when the Holy One blessed be He said to Moshe, “And now, come therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, and you will bring forth My people, the children of Israel out of Egypt.”

אמר לו משה, 'בייא אתה מעביר עלי "לֹא אִישׁ דְּבָרִים אָנֹכִי", אמר לו 'שבעים לשון עומדין בפלטרין של פרעה. שאם יבא אדם אחד ממקום אחר מדברים עמו בלשונו. ואני הולך בשליחותך והם בודקין אותי לומר שאני שלוחו של מקום, וגלוי לפניהם שאנו יכול להשיח עמהם, אין שוחקין עלי, לומר ראו שליח של מי שברא העולם ואת כל הלשונות אינו יודע לשמוע ולהשיב?! הוי בייא "לא איש דברים אנכי" , (שמות ו:ל) "וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לִפְנֵי יְדֹוָד הֵן אֲנִי עֲרַל שְׂפָתַיִם וְאֵיךְ יִשְׁמַע אֵלַי פַּרְעֹה"

Moshe said to Him, You will dismiss my speech impediment. He continued, seventy translators stand at the ready in the palace of Pharaoh. That if one comes from a place they speak with him in his language. And I go as Your emissary and they will examine to see if I am in fact the messenger of the Omnipresent, and it will be revealed to them that I cannot converse with them, they will not attend to me, saying, ‘see the emissary of the Creator of the world and of all the languages of the world, does not know how to listen or respond? That is the meaning of “I am not a man of words” “And Moses said before the LORD: 'Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?'

אמר לו הקדוש ברוך הוא, 'והרי אדם הראשון שלא למדו בריה מנין היה יודע שבעים לשון? שנאמר
(בראשית ב:כ) "וַיִּקְרָא הָאָדָם שֵׁמוֹת לְכָל הַבְּהֵמָה וּלְעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וּלְכֹל חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה וּלְאָדָם לֹא מָצָא עֵזֶר כְּנֶגְדּוֹ" 'שם לכל הבהמה' אין כתיב כאן אלא "שֵׁמוֹת", ואתה אומר "לֹא אִישׁ דְּבָרִים אָנֹכִי".

The Holy One blessed be He said, and behold the primal man, who was not taught anything, from where did he know the seventh languages? As it says, “And the man gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a help meet for him. It is not written, ‘name of every creature’ rather “names” and you can say you are not a man of words?

בסוף ארבעים שנה שיצאו ישראל ממצרים התחיל מפרש התורה בשבעים לשון. (דברים א:ה) " בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב הוֹאִיל מֹשֶׁה בֵּאֵר אֶת הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת לֵאמֹר"

At the end of forty years, that the Israelites had left Egypt, he began to explain the Torah in seventy languages. “beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, took Moses upon him to expound this law, saying”

הפה שאמר "לֹא אִישׁ דְּבָרִים אָנֹכִי" אמר "אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים" , והנביא צווח ואמר ""אָז יְדַלֵּג כָּאַיָּל פִּסֵּחַ וְתָרֹן לְשׁוֹן אִלֵּם", למה? כי נבקעו במדבר מים ונחלים בערבה, לכך נאמר "אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים".

The mouth that said “I am not a man of words” said “These are the words” and the prophet calls out and says “Then shall the lame man leap as a ram, and the tongue of the mute shall sing” Why? Because for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.”
